Membership to the AAECLA will be accessible to companies and entities involved in the Entertainment Content & Licensing Industry ranging from Middle East and North Africa (MENA) countries, the Indian Sub - continent, Asia Pacific, Europe and the United States of America. The Membership categories will be as follows:
 
AAECLA – Character Dubai Membership (Corporate Member)
 
Is open to the exhibitors exhibiting within the Dubai International Character and Licensing Fair. (Courtesy Membership)
 
AAECLA – Professional Membership (Professional Member)
 
Is open to specialists / professionals who are involved in Animation, Entertainment,  Character and Licensing business. ie animation producers, content creators, comics, media, advertisers, graphic designers, marketers, manufacturers, retailers, licensees, licensing agents etc. (Courtesy Membership)
 
AAECLA – Arab Asian Membership (Associate Member)
 
Is open to Government Agencies, individuals, companies, entities, media agencies, institutes, who are involved in other businesses than the Character, Content and Licensing Industry and who are not actively involved in Character Dubai. (Membership Fee is Free for 2 years succeeding year is AED 3685/US$1000).
 
AAECLA – Student (AED100/US$30)
 
College and upper level students who wish to participate and avail of the benefits of the association.
